Ian Sullivan
Ian has spent the last decade as a swim parent, a swim club board member, and enthusiastic supporter of high school swimmers interested in landing a recruit spot at their target school. He built SwimRecruitHub to make it easier for high school swimmers to discover which schools might be a great fit for them, and to support how to be proactive in the recruiting process. While building SwimRecruitHub it become clear to Ian that although times and academic standards are very important, there’s also a lot you can do to help yourself stand out as a recruit. Ian is committed to helping high school athletes achieve their goals to compete at the next level.
Mark Stori
Coach Stori is a highly respected coach with extensive experience at all levels of competitive swimming. He is currently head coach at Santa Barbara Swim Club, and before SBSC served as a key member of the UC Santa Barbara coaching staff, helping lead the men’s and women’s teams to numerous conference championships. During his time at UCSB, his athletes consistently broke school records and achieved top finishes at the conference level. As a swimmer, Mark was a four-year varsity athlete at the University of Iowa, where he served as team captain his senior year and qualified for the USA Swimming Olympic Trials in the 200 backstroke. Beyond his coaching credentials, Mark is an active member of the Santa Barbara aquatics community, with deep ties to club, collegiate, masters, and open water swimming.
